DHS Awards ECS with Information Technology Support Contract

FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), a leading provider of information technology and engineering services to the U.S. Federal Government, announced today that it was awarded a five-year task order under its Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) Prime Contract. ECS will provide senior-level IT advisory and assistance services to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The award was a competitive order conducted under EAGLE and has a total value of approximately $50 million. The scope of this order is to support the TSA Information Technology Division/Solutions Delivery (ITD/SD) with technical, engineering and other support services. The efforts shall include technical, management, IT support contract technical oversight and coordination, advisory and administrative support to government leads for Infrastructure Operations, Solutions Engineering, Enterprise Applications & Testing and Management & Administration. It will also include support to the ITD/SD Director, Deputy Director and other related managerial assistance support services for the full range of program/project management, financial management and life cycle acquisition support for SD contracts.
