WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- AITHERAS, LLC, a locally based enterprise solutions company, was awarded a U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract to provide quality assurance and project management services. AITHERAS was chosen over hundreds of other companies bidding for the work.

AITHERAS received its certification as an 8(a) company along with access to the GSA schedule in the winter of 2006. Within a few days of receiving its 8(a) certification, AITHERAS was contacted by several government agencies and contractors to help perform testing, validation and document management work. The United States DOL contract will mark the first time that AITHERAS will be the prime vendor on a government contract. Less than two months later AITHERAS was awarded their second contract with the DHS.
