Edison Automation, Inc. Addresses Security in the Utilities Market

NASHVILLE , Tenn., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Karla Diehl , President and Chairwoman of the Board, joins InfraGard, an FBI program established to address critical security issues within the national infrastructure. Ms. Diehl was invited by the FBI to take part in an invitation-only class for community leaders. The objective of the program is to educate the community on the activities of the FBI. The forum provides an avenue for the FBI to listen and respond to the issues and concerns of the community.

InfraGard is a collaboration between the FBI, private sector and public industries that are connected to our nation's critical infrastructure. Edison Automation was asked to educate the Nashville-based FBI staff on SCADA and control systems that are common to utilities and the energy sectors. The information is critical for effectively dealing with threats that are a national issue.
