(Nasdaq: MATH), a fabless semiconductor company specializing in high-performance programmable logic, today announced that the MPEG-4 to MPEG-2 high-definition (HD) transcoder system manufactured by LG Electronics for LodgeNet has been certified for use in hospitality businesses. The transcoder is built around MathStar's latest Arrix(TM) family of field programmable object array (FPOA) chips.
