Celebrating central station catches

Sept. 28, 2012
It's your time to shine--laud the good work of your employees in preventing crime

Attention dealers, integrators and especially central station monitoring companies. We have a great opportunity to get you noticed, and rewarded, in print and online for your help in thwarting burglaries, break-ins and other criminal activities. We are going back to our roots in a new feature in the pages of SD&I magazine called: Catch of the Week.

This feature will focus on central station ‘catches’—instances where your dispatches or other response might have caught a crime in progress, or prevented some criminal activity, with alarm systems and video surveillance or other physical security.

We want you to send me a note via email at [email protected] or call me at 800-547-7377, extension 2730 if you have an incident and can describe the details and provide the response that came from you. You can also direct inquiries to a special email address we have set up at [email protected]. We will feature this in an upcoming issue of the magazine. This is your chance to congratulate your team or team member for their hard work in preventing crime and laud their stellar work in catching thieves.

You can read about it in our digital edition and our column by Attorney Eric Pritchard at http://sdi.epubxpress.com/link/SD/2012/sep/24?s=0, or at www.securityinfowatch.com/10762189. You can also contact Eric Pritchard with recent catches and accomplishments.

Sometimes we forget the good deeds the industry does in preventing crime, thefts and personal assaults, so let’s get back to these basics and reward those for a job well done.
