Grant Hawkins is a proven strategic programs oversight professional with more than 10 years of project management, program planning, development, implementation and law enforcement experience. Hawkins currently serves as vice president of programs and strategic projects for the Atlanta Police Foundation - a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization established to manage and fund programs aimed to drive the Atlanta Police Department to be a best-in-class organization and initiatives that improve public safety in the city of Atlanta. In this role, Hawkins manages key initiatives through several foundation programs designed to immediately and directly impact crime reduction in the city. Through Hawkins’ leadership, the APF spearheaded the design and build-out of the Operation Shield Video Integration Center – one of the largest public/private camera integration projects in the nation – and he has been instrumental in securing more than $3.5 million to fund the project’s continued expansion. Prior to joining the Atlanta Police Foundation, Hawkins held various roles in the non-profit and law enforcement sectors.
