Susan Milligan is originally from Pittsburgh where she studied nursing. After moving to Cincinnati, she changed her focus to strategic leadership and managed the learning and development function for both Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s for 15 years. Her experience there included the centralization of instructional design and facilitation, the creation of a coaching library and the successful launch of their Philippine training initiatives. Since joining Children's, Susan has been promoted to lead the Welcome Center and Guest Services teams. She was instrumental in the successful launch of the visitor management system and has created a voice response unit to ensure families were served when it was convenient for them.
