In this seminar, presented by Lisa Pryse, CHPA, CPP, president-elect of the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS), we'll address best practices for prevention and response to active shooter incidents in hospital environments. Using guidelines developed by the IAHSS and the Joint Commission (JCAHO), this one-hour seminar will share lessons learned from active shooter preparation drills, active shooter training programs and real incidents. Key considerations will be staff training, real-time response coordination, and staff/patient protection. This free program is designed to be relevant for all hospital administrators and staff, hospital police and security directors, security officers and technology providers. The program is co-presented by IAHSS and SecurityInfoWatch.com.
