Fast50 program from SD&I magazine ranks America's fastest growing security systems integrators

It was a first, and definitely not the last, as SD&I magazine presented its inaugural Fast50 awards and best practices celebration today during ISC West 2012 at the Special Events Stage.

The crowd included manufacturers, distributors, the advisory board members, program endorsees and others who were proof positive that the time had come for the program and the unveiling of the first ever ranking of America’s Fastest Growing Systems Integrators. Ed Several, vice president of ISC West, kicked off the event and many of the ranked integrators and security dealers were on hand to receive their awards—or hear best practices from three of the top companies on just why they had grown.

Michael S. Rogers, PSP, CPP and CEO of Securityhunter, the number one top ranked company in the SD&I Fast50 program, talked about his successes in the federal vertical market, and how he painstakingly built relationships over years and finally had the big break that propelled the company into success when he landed a lucrative contract--with others quickly following.

Skip Sampson, CPP and vice president of Koorsen Security Technology, ranked number seven on the SD&I Fast50 ranking spoke about how his company started as a security and fire systems dealer, and moved into new technologies when they saw changes afoot.

Duane Wilde, senior account manager for Netech Corp. in the number three spot on the SD&I Fast50 ranking spoke of his company’s prowess in the networking side of the business and how they moved into security—ever sure that the employees of the firm knew how important they were in the equation and potential success of the company.
