LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY (February 19, 2018) – Bates Security, LLC, a commercial and residential security company based in Kentucky with a branch in Florida, is happy to announce the recent acquisition of ABCO Security from Robert Welch of Prestonsburg. Bates Security and ABCO are a perfect match as both are family owned and operated businesses and leading Honeywell Authorized Dealer companies. With the acquisition, Bates will be adding over 1,650 customers to its customer base.

Bates Security is keeping all 11 ABCO Security office and technical employees and welcomes them into the Bates family. Tim Welch, Robert Welch’s son, will be the General Manager of the Eastern Kentucky office.
