Nashville, Tenn.-based ADS Security recently announced that it has acquired customer accounts from Sanders Security of Dothan, Alabama.
According to a statement, the purchase adds approximately 1,600 accounts – 60 percent residential and 40 percent commercial – to the ADS customer base. ADS said it will retain the Sanders Security office, establishing it as the seventh branch location for the company in the state of Alabama and the twenty-first branch location companywide.
“Sanders Security has had a great reputation in the Dothan market for 18 years,” said ADS President and CEO John Cerasuolo. “We are excited to have John Sanders and his team become a part of ADS Security and continue to help us grow our Alabama footprint.”

Sanders Security is the fifth purchase for ADS this year, following two acquisitions in Melbourne, Florida (one of 1,600 accounts and the second of 1,300 accounts); a 3,000 account acquisition in Sanford, North Carolina; and a 1,300 account purchase in Northport, Alabama. These deals have yielded ADS over 8,000 purchased accounts year-to-date. In 2015, ADS acquired security companies in Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia totaling approximately 6,500 accounts.
