Convergint acquires Beckwith Electronic Engineering Co., and Beckwith Electronic Systems
Convergint, a global leader in service-based systems integration, announced it has acquired Beckwith, a Texas-based integrator comprised of Beckwith Electronic Engineering, Co. and Beckwith Electronic Systems.
Beckwith specializes in communication, security, and life safety systems, and the acquisition adds 140 colleagues to Convergint, greatly expanding the company’s vertical reach and presence across the southcentral U.S.
Since its founding in 1962, Beckwith has built a reputable brand and culture, providing a range of life safety and communications systems across vertical markets including: healthcare, education, commercial, restaurant, retail, government, and hotels. With a well-established client roster, Beckwith brings experienced and highly trained life safety personnel that bolster Convergint’s existing service capabilities in the region. Through the acquisition, Convergint will continue to expand and develop Beckwith’s extensive and established network of customers and partner relationships.
