ASSA ABLOY is making a huge splash at this year’s ISC West here in Las Vegas from April 9-11, showcasing new companies and featuring new products, with the theme – Together, We Create Access for the Future.

“This theme reinforces our commitment to working with our channel partners to create safer, more secure spaces for our end customers,” says Angelo Faenza, Jr., head of Digital Access Solutions, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas.

“A central part of this mission is constantly re-evaluating the needs of our customers so we can provide solutions that address these needs. ASSA ABLOY also hosted its 18th annual breakfast at ISC West this week. Addressing the topic of “Navigating Megatrends for Sustainable Growth,” the session focused on three key megatrends that are not only driving growth but transforming the security industry: artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and sustainability.

Adding to Great Depth of Products

Many of the 12 ASSA ABLOY group companies are unveiling new products and technologies while some are making their debut in the ASSA ABLOY family this year.

  • Securitech: Known for securing your most important doors, Securitech offers a robust range of innovative life-safety and forced-entry solutions designed to meet the most stringent security and code requirements for commercial, institutional, and industrial applications.

Bringing Innovative Solutions

It wouldn’t be an ISC West without ASSA ABLOY unveiling some cool new products and technologies, as “innovative solutions underscore ASSA ABLOY's commitment to redefining security standards and providing reliable access control solutions for diverse applications,” says Faenza, who notes the company continues to stay at the forefront of where security is going.

“We are seeing growth in data centers due to the increased demand driven by growth in cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI), and other technologies that require tremendous data capacity,” he explains. “We’re also seeing growth in K-12 schools due to the ongoing need to protect students and classrooms, colleges and universities who seek to enhance the student experience with the latest mobile access technologies, off-campus student housing, multi-family housing, and healthcare.”

This week at ISC West the company has made several announcements, including:

  • Available in May, the new EMI-RFI Shielding Door and Frame Assembly from Ceco, Curries, and Fleming features shielding protection with an adjustable seal system and Sound Group 3 rating in compliance with ICD-705, IEEE 299, and TEMPEST requirements. The new assembly offers a solution ideal for data centers, SCIF facilities, or any environment seeking to protect and secure electronic information.
  • HES 9100 Electric Strike for Tubular Vertical Rod Exit Devices introduces superior efficiency for single glass door applications. With its low-profile design, the 9100 ensures simplified retrofit installation, eliminating the need for frame alterations, saving time and labor costs. Featuring integrated adjustability for optimal latch positioning, adaptable voltage sensing technology, latchbolt and strike monitoring, and exceeding Grade 1 standards, the HES 9100 Electric Strike delivers exceptional versatility and durability, meeting UL outdoor rating requirements effortlessly. The 9100 is the complement to the 9200 Electric Strike used for double doors.
  • The Securitron AQL Series of intelligent, switching power supplies is a premium out-of-the-box solution that offers unique performance and value. This feature-rich series is available in 12 or 24-VDC single, dual, and multi-voltage units with options that are field-selectable. Systems are configurable with optional accessory boards for multi-voltage (B100), network monitoring and control (NL4), and managed access control for up to 8 outputs (M8), that may be installed in our standard E1 or the new, larger, E2 UL listed enclosure.
  • The Medeco eCLIQ Spark Key represents the future of key technology, creating a new era of access control. The credentials accepted by the Medeco Intelligent RF Padlock include RFID, Wallet, Seos, Mifare, Prox, and Bluetooth. It’s available for a sneak peek at the booth.
  • Securitech’s life-safety and forced-entry solutions secure your most important doors. The SAFEBOLT and Quick Intruder Deadbolt (QID) allow educational facilities to secure their doors instantly at the touch of a button, while maintaining 100% code compliance. The ADA-compliant DAISY and SOLIS solutions offer elegance for behavioral healthcare facilities without compromising on security or ease of operation. The TRIDENT and Auto-Bolt MAX multi-point locks from Securitech reinforce door strength while protecting your most valuable assets and spaces.
