ADT announced on Tuesday that it has agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of private equity firm Apollo Global Management LLC. Upon completion of the deal, ADT will be merged with Protection 1, which along with Maryland-based ASG Security, was acquired by Apollo and its affiliates last May.
