Man arrested at Sea-Tac when TSA finds loaded gun in carry-on bag

SEA-TAC AIRPORT, Washington --

A man was arrested at Sea-Tac Airport on Wednesday morning after Transportation Security Administration officers found a loaded gun in his carry-on baggage.

TSA officials said officers detected the gun at a security checkpoint. The gun, a .380 IVER Johnson handgun, was loaded with six rounds of ammunition, including one in the chamber. A loaded spare single clip was also found.

The man was headed to Minneapolis, the TSA said.

Port of Seattle police officers arrested the man and charges against him are pending.
