More than 900 cameras to be installed or upgraded at both sites

IndigoVision announced this week that its IP video solutions are going to be implemented at two Nevada gaming facilities, the new $1 billion M Resort, Spa and Casino currently under construction in Las Vegas, as well as the Colorado Belle, located in Laughlin.

More than 900 cameras will be installed or upgraded at both sites by IndigoVision partner Southwest Surveillance Systems, the company said. Both sites will also use a total of nine workstations running IndigoVision’s Control Center video management software to view and record video from the cameras.

In the case of the Colorado Belle, the installation of the new IndigoVision video solutions will allow the casino to stay operational while the switch takes place. They will also be able to reuse their existing CCTV cameras.

The M Resort will deploy IndigoVision’s 9000 product, which according to the company’s statement, "will be the first ever implementation of H.264 video compression in any casino worldwide."
