The new rule published last week requires federal contractors to begin

implement the program for all new hires, verifying their work eligibility
within three business days of the date of hire. Existing employees that are
assigned to work under a federal contract will also have to be verified within
90 days after the date of the contractor's enrollment in E-Verify or within 30
calendar days of the employee's assignment to the contract, whichever date is
