IndigoVision, a leading provider of IP video technology, announced this week that ScottishPower, one of the largest utility companies in the UK, recently deployed a new integrated security system that utilizes the company’s solutions.
According to a statement released by IndigoVision regarding the deployment, the system, which consists of CCTV cameras, intruder alarms, intercoms, gate controls, barriers, and doors, is integrated using the company’s “Control Center†video and alarm management software.
The utility company had previously used standalone CCTV systems that couldn’t be view remotely. Reusing ScottishPower’s existing CCTV cameras, however, IndigoVision was able to create a highly-scalable surveillance system that can now be remotely viewed and controlled from the company’s headquarters.
