Partnership would involve TSA-approved electronic passes on mobile devices

Delta Air Lines has entered into a partnership with the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to launch paperless check-in for domestic travel from Memphis International Airport.

Paperless check-in will be available for non-stop Delta, Northwest and Delta Connection flights departing from Concourses A, B and C at Memphis International Airport.

Customers will be able to use mobile devices to check-in and receive electronic boarding passes via Internet-enabled devices.

The airline also offers mobile check-in for Delta and Northwest flights at Minneapolis-St Paul and Las Vegas airports; for Northwest flights only at Detroit and Indianapolis airports; and for Delta flights only at New York's LaGuardia airport.
