A man found dead after a police standoff Monday is believed to be the man caught on tape robbing a casino.

Feb. 22, 2010, FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Police said a man found dead after a SWAT standoff near Fort Lauderdale is the same man suspected of committing a robbery at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek last month.

The casino was robbed on Jan. 29, and Seminole police later released surveillance video of the crime. An anonymous source called Broward Crime Stoppers with a tip leading police to 27-year-old Dominic Zibuda, of Coral Springs.

Seminole police, the Broward Sheriff's Office, the U.S. Secret Service and the FBI tracked Zibuda to a home in the 5600 block of Northeast Second Terrace on Tuesday evening.

Three other people who were inside the house when the officers arrived went outside, and police questioned and released them. BSO said officers surrounded the house, and Zibuda refused to come out, instead firing several shots, one of which broke the front window.

After a standoff that lasted for hours, officers found Zibuda dead inside the home at about 9:30 p.m. BSO said investigators believe Zibuda shot himself.
