STAM Interactive, which specializes in providing Web-based training solutions, recently announced that it will be offering online training courses for security professionals.
Through its STAM University Web portal, the company said it will provide a wide variety of security training courses including CCTV and digital video, IP networking, access control systems, wireless technology, basic electricity, biometric technology, and fiber optic technology.
"There are no classrooms or fixed schedules. Participants can complete the training at a time and location of their choice. All they need is a computer with a 56 kbps internet connection," STAM Interactive CEO Jayant Kapatker said in a prepared statement. "These audio-visual interactive web based training courses can work as virtual instructors for any organization. The courses provide self directed interactive audio visual training, alongside giving tests, evaluating them and provide a certificate that is recognized by many leading associations like ASIS, NBFAA, ALOA, and NCSA."
