IT and physical security distributor adds Intransa products for upgrading CCTV storage

Malaysian technology products distributor Databridge Communications will be distributing Intransa's video surveillance storage solutions in the Malaysian market.

The Intransa products include solutions for upgrading storage on DVRs and for creating IP-based storage solutions. The Intransa solutions are designed to provide reliable, redundant storage to augment or replace the storage built inside a DVR by connecting, via Ethernet to a bank of storage hard drives.

Jonathan Perkins, Intransa's vice president of sales, said the addition of Databridge as a distributor extended the company into that market.

“Databridge's systematic approach to using leading technologies to address customer requirements was key to Intransa's selection of the company to deliver our products in the region,” said Perkins.

Databridge not only offers solutions for video surveillance and physical security, but the company also provides wireless networks for metropolitan environments as well as general IT infrastructure.

"We are very pleased to offer Intransa's IP SAN Storage Solutions for IT Data Storage, CCTV DVR upgrades for existing infrastructure companies, as well as all-IP solutions for new installations to the Malaysian market," said Jerome Clement, the technical director of Databridge. "The increase in reliability and video retention while reducing the cost of video surveillance will be very important to our customers as well the increase in security system information provided."
