Mass notification systems developer Cooper Notification announced Friday that California-based Standard Electronics has inked a deal to become a mass notification channel partner of the company.
Standard Electronics, which already has fire, security and paging systems as part of its product offerings, can now offer their customers Cooper Notification’s complete line of solutions that includes products for a variety of applications such as indoor/outdoor evacuation systems and emergency text and voice mails.
The two companies will conduct a mass notification demonstration and education tour later this month in San Diego, Calif., on Oct. 14 to Oct. 17. The tour will help educate security directors and emergency responders about mass notification solutions and how to best communicate during an emergency situation, according to a statement issued by the companies.
