CHANTILLY, Va. , Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Ardent Management Consulting (ArdentMC) today announced the appointment of Michael Matechak as a Partner and Vice President. Mr. Matechak joined the company in October 2006 , and will lead the company's commercial, state, and local government consulting practices.

Mr. Matechak will focus on expanding ArdentMC's overall client base with an emphasis on state, local, and commercial clients. He will lead a team delivering business consulting and information technology solutions to multiple organizations within the practice area.
Prior to joining ArdentMC, Mr. Matechak was Director of Program Management for the Circle Line Companies in New York, NY , where he directed the Program Management Office marketing, business support operations, and call centers for five separate business units. Before Circle Line, Mr. Matechak was a Senior Manager in the Government Contracts Consulting practice of Navigant Consulting, formerly Arthur Andersen Government Contracts Group.
