Peace of Mind Technologies, LLC (POM), a Manhattan-based security technology firm, has been retained by Hilton Hotels Corporation to upgrade and maintain the security system in the Hilton Newark Penn Station, located at Gateway Center--Raymond Boulevard, Newark, New Jersey, announces Jon Ecker, president of POM.
It is the second project awarded to POM by the Hilton Hotels Corporations and includes the upgrade of the hotel's security system with the installation of a complete digital video recorder (DVR) surveillance system and a total of 16 new cameras.
"The Hilton name is synonymous with fine service and luxury and it's only fitting that the organization would install top-of-the line security technology systems designed specifically to protect patrons and the property," says Mr. Ecker. In addition to the Hilton Newark Penn Station, POM is responsible for security technology at the Hilton New York, Soho Grand Hotel, TheMaritime Hotel, The Bowery Hotel, Tribeca Grand Hotel and Westin Hotel--Times Square.
