Systems integration and security installing firm InterTECH Security Group out of Warrendale, Penn., is on the move again, this time with the acquisition of a similarly-focused integration firm out of Frederick, Md.
InterTECH announced on Thursday that it had acquired the assets of E-Quip Ltd., an a systems integrator specializing in the financial, retail, correctional facilities, and government markets.
The acquisition, which was completed in December, will allow InterTECH to move its existing Maryland office to E-Quip's facility in Fredrick. InterTECH described the acquisition and move as strategic for what they called "aggressive growth in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area".
InterTECH also operates satellite offices in Johnstown, Penn., and Morgantown, W.V.
