Honeywell life safety company Fire-Lite Alarms is calling out to fire systems installing companies to find out who is "best of the best".
This is the first year for what Fire-Lite hopes will be an annual competition to recognize the most dedicated and skilled installers of fire detection systems. Awards will be chosen by a panel of judges and will recognize unique installations of fire alarm equipment (you have to use Fire-Lite equipment to be eligible). The 12 top installing companies will be recognized in a 2008 Best-of-the-Best wall calendar, and on Fire-Lite's website, plus at industry events. Even better, there's real money to be had, with American Express gift cards in the works -- $1,000 for first, $700 for second and $300 for third place.
