Video management system sold to BAE; will still be resold through Petards

Petards will continue to provide Universal Video Management System (UVMS) in North America through a licensing arrangement with BAE Systems.

Petards will continue to sell its other security products and solutions, including its technologically advanced Hawk camera line for license plate recognition and its rapidly deployable Swift wireless cameras, throughout the US and Canada.

Frank Baitman, president of Petards, said: "We welcome BAE's leadership to further develop UVMS into a market leading video surveillance solution. They have the resources and experience to rapidly advance UVMS software, enabling us to pursue significant opportunities and expand in the North American marketplace. Through this strategic relationship, we will be providing BAE with market insights from North America that help to shape the product's direction. In addition, we will continue to expand our own development efforts to address the unique specialized requirements of our existing customers."
