Company introduces new line of IP cameras at IFSEC

Basler, a German manufacturer of digital cameras for various industrial, medical and traffic system applications, made its foray into the surveillance market at IFSEC as the company introduced a new series of IP cameras.

The cameras, which produce a high quality image, are also compact and powerful. They feature H.264 compression technology and can be used simultaneously with each other via a multiple streaming capability.

"We have observed the IP camera market for several years and noticed that this growing market has attracted some new suppliers. Usually, they come with a network engineering background or from the analog video market," said Hardy Mehl, director of marketing and new business for Basler in a prepared statement. "Many IP camera customers welcome the advantages of network technology, but are not satisfied with the image quality and reliability of current digital camera products. Basler wants to close this gap."

Basler has more than 20 years of experience in image processing and has designed and manufactured high quality digital cameras for over 10 years. The company says that its products are known for their image quality, reliability, ease of use, and ease of integration.
