Company's video analytics to be represented in Texas and surrounding states by DSP

Video intelligence solutions provider Arteco Vision Systems announced today that it's tying in with rep firm DSP Integrity.

DSP Integrity represents security and fire solutions manufacturers' products across Texas, as well as New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Ray Rudy, Arteco's national sales manager said Arteco had been impressed by DSP's solutions. The company handles not only product sales, but also demonstrations, training, design support and customer service.

Arteco's Intelligent Video Solutions (IVS) are sold as hardware-based intelligent video systems which combine a analytics server with monitoring software. The systems are becoming popular for automated video monitoring. Arteco, which is based globally in Italy, and which has its U.S. offices in Columbia, Mo., has been in the video market for roughly six years, largely focused on the commercial sector. With its new Smart-Home IVS, Arteco has made a move to enter the high-end residential security market, an area that had been relatively untouched by video analytics.

The company's technology was recently reviewed by integrator network SecurityNet as part of a survey of intelligent video systems in the IP & Intelligent Video 2006 supplement to Security Technology & Design and Security Dealer magazines. See the SecurityNet report on intelligent video here.
