The two companies will combine Vialogy's SPM(TM) (Sensor Policy Manager(TM)) with TIES(R), Swan Island Networks' innovative managed service offering, to create an intelligent sensor network. SPM will collect alert information from multiple networked sensors and instantly present it in a tailored, pre-determined way using the TIES(R) (Trusted Information Exchange Service) platform from Swan Island Networks. The process reduces to an integrated central screen the multiple displays that must now be monitored, reduces the number of human monitors that are now necessary, provides more immediate access to priority information, and results in quicker response time.
This capability introduces a powerful new tool to the physical security information management market.
