ADT Security Services will be aiding the National Hockey League's Florida Panthers in their security, and at their arena, the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla.
The deal, inked between Sunrise Sports & Entertainment and ADT, includes a multi-year sponsorship as official security services provider that will extend through 2010.
As part of the agreement, ADT will be providing a video surveillance solution at the BankAtlantic Center. The surveillance platform used will be ADT's Safewatch VideoView system, which provides the popular feature of remote viewing by both the BankAtlantic security staff and monitoring by ADT.
The sponsorship is more than security. ADT also sponsors the Florida Panthers "Defensive player of the month/season" awards.
