Michael Lamach joins board of information asset protection and storage firm

Iron Mountain, a top firm in the business of data and asset storage and protection, has picked up a board member from another company that knows security from A to Z: Ingersoll Rand.

Michael Lamach was elected to Iron Mountain's board, and as president of Ingersoll Rand's Security Technologies Sector, he brings expertise in security products, technology and systems integration. Prior to his position with Ingersoll Rand, Lamach spent 17 years with systems integration provider Johnson Controls.

However, according to Richard Reese, Iron Mountain's CEO, it wasn't just Lamach's background around security and integration providers that was a good fit. Rather, said Reese, "his deep experience running multi-national companies is of particular importance to Iron Mountain."
