New 18-Story Office Building to Be Built in Dallas

Arts Plaza complex to get 442,000-s.f. building for corporate space
Jan. 16, 2007

Developer Billingsley Co. - whose Arts Plaza project in the Arts District was the first office building started in downtown in almost 20 years - is already working on a second building.

Brokers representing the commercial builder are pitching the project to potential tenants who would fill the 18-story building to be constructed at Woodall Rodgers Freeway and Routh Street.

At 442,000 square feet, the new building will be similar in size to One Arts Plaza but will contain no residential space. Like the first building, Two Arts Plaza has been designed by Dallas architects Morrison Seifert Murphy.

Construction of the $125 million One Arts Plaza is scheduled for completion later this year.
