Promotions and new hires shape video surveillance company's sales force

Dedicated Micros, which provides video surveillance equipment, announced last week that it has reshaped its U.S. sales force.

As part of that sales force adjustment, the company has also added new members to the sales team. Most significant in the changes, Don Macpherson was promoted to the position of direction of national sales. Additionally, James Somerville was promoted to director of vertical market sales and strategic accounts. Stephen Adamcsak also received a promotion, and was named national sales manager. The company also hired new faces Thomas Melillo (regional sales manager, Northeast) and Elliott Bean (distribution channels). The sales staff is managed by John Bonsee, senior vice president of business development and sales, who said that the alignment changes were designed to help the company "focus on key vertical markets and improve our geographical coverage."

Dedicated Micros is part of the AD Group.
