STOP Alarms Inc., a Memphis-based alarm dealer serving both commercial and residential markets, has joined Honeywell's First Alert Professional Dealer network.

The First Alert network is a group of independent security dealers who sell Honeywell equipment and offer a wide range of technology solutions, from fire to CCTV, access control and traditional intrusion detection. Dealers who join the Honeywell network are still independent operations, but as part of their recognition within the First Alert group, they receive training and in sales and marketing from Honeywell's staff.

STOP Alarms, which has been around since 1970 delivers a wide range of solutions, including alarms, fire detection, access control, video surveillance and custom offerings like structured wiring, surround sound and central vacuums. Trae Carney is the president of STOP Alarms.
