MINNEAPOLIS -- On June 2 the University Police Department released a crime alert about a theft from the building at 2218 University Ave. S.E., which houses University of Minnesota Computer Services.

The thieves stole six laptops and security cameras caught the crime in progress.

The department's Web site, www1.umn.edu/police, has still frames of the suspects and if anyone recognizes the men in the picture they should call 624-COPS.

"People should look at the Web site to help," said Steve Johnson, deputy police chief of University Police.
