Texas facility for commercial and national accounts gets update in space, technology needs

Protection One announced today that it has opened a million-dollar expansion to its monitoring operations in Texas.

The Protection One monitoring operations center is located in Irving, Texas, (also home to a large monitoring facility from Brink's), and serves the company's commercial, multi-family and national accounts.

According to Protection One, the newly expanded facility allows for clients to tour the monitoring operations, allows for technology demonstrations, and provides space for growth of the company.

"We continuously work with our technology partners to develop new solutions for central station- based access control and CCTV solutions," said Protection One President and CEO Richard Ginsburg in a public statement announcing the updated facility. "Our goal is to meet the increasing demand for security providers to enhance and improve these types of services and to address specific and varying customer needs. Additionally, our unique disaster recovery center, redundant network and ability to seamlessly serve customers from several locations in the case of natural disasters or other events has become increasingly important to our clients. Our Irving facility is an important part of this network and a solid base for future expansion of our operations."

The facility allows for traditional monitoring, as well as such services as video monitoring and auditing, access control management, coordination with guard services, and other full-service features being used for commercial and national accounts.
