Convergint Technologies, a Chicago-based systems integrator, has been named by Axis Communications as its North American National System Integrator of the Year for 2007.
The distinction was provided by the network video firm for Convergint's participation in the Axis Communications National System Integrator (NSI) program.
Convergint operates in 20 markets across the U.S. and in Canada, and some 80 percent of the company's video surveillance products involve IP-based technologies.
Fredrik Nilsson, general manager of Axis Communications, said the relationship between the two companies had been a "win-win".
