Securitas Loses CFO Due to Corporate Office Move

Oct. 19, 2006
Company to relocate head office from London to Stockholm

Securitas's current head offices have been spread between Stockholm, London and Dublin, but the London office will be no more due to a corporate relocation decision.

Hakan Winberg, the executive vice president and CFO is one casualty of that move. Winberg decided not to move to Stockholm, where the company's corporate finance, legal, tax and investor relations jobs are being relocated, instead choosing to resign and leave the company in the second half of 2007.

The move of the Feltham (London) Group offices will be completed by July of 2007, according to the company.

As the company moves its core business functions back to Stockholm, it also will see a new CEO. Thomas Berglund is leaving the company in March of 2007, to be replaced by Alf Goransson, who will be based in Stockholm.
