Windy City Wire, a leading supplier of specialty wiring for security, data communication, low voltage and custom electronics, announced this morning that it has acquired C.W. Cable.
The acquisition is effective today. C.W. Cable, which has been located in Kent, Wash., will continue to operate in its own facility, but as a Windy City Wire division. The acquisition primarily affects the Pacific Northwest market that C.W. Cable serves, and reports indicate that C.W. Cable will be able to deliver Windy City Wire products such as its "SmartWire" cabling.
