JVC names Hajime Yamasaki VP of security division

Longtime company employee brings extensive experience to position

JVC Professional Products announced Monday that it has appointed Hajime Yamasaki vice president of its security division.

Yamasaki, who has been with JVC and its parent company, Victor Company of Japan, since 1984, will be responsible for overseeing product strategy and planning, as well as sales and marketing activities within the division.

In a statement issued by the company, Robert Mueller, executive vice president and chief operating officer for JVC said that Yamasaki had been an "extremely valuable asset" during his time with the organization and indicated that the new vice president’s experience in the industry will expand their "footprint in the security arena."

Also in a prepared statement, Yamasaki said that he was honored to accept the new position and that it was a privilege to be able to work for the organization throughout his entire career.
