Trans-Alarm Becomes Honeywell Authorized Dealer

Minnesota firm specializes in complex access control integrated with video and biometrics, also handles fire systems

Burnsville, Minn.-based Trans-Alarm, a 41-year-old security firm that has served the Upper Midwest market, has joined the Honeywell Authorized Dealer for Commercial Security Systems program.

The firm not only provides integrated security solutions, but also maintains a central monitoring station that U.L. listed and CSAA Five Diamond certified. The company primarily focuses its integration serviceson access control, badging and cards, as well as video surveillance, fire alarms and even biometrics.

The Honeywell Authorized Dealer for Commercial Security Systems program has typically been selected by mid-market dealers/integrators seeking to closely align their training and technical programs with the vendor. Most integrators, like Trans-Alarm, not only handle access and video, but also fire systems.
