NBFAA state charter association opens new office, hires administrator

The Georgia Electronic Life Safety and Systems Association, an NBFAA chartered state association, has announced the opening of its new offices in a suburban location in Metro Atlanta.

The new office for the GELSSA is located in Suwanee, Georgia, and can be reached by phone at (678) 546-7012, by fax at (678) 546-7128, and by mail at P.O. Box 2924, Suwanee, GA 30024. The GELSSA email is [email protected].

The new office has hired Suzanne Far as its administrator to assist Georgia association members with their needs. The GELSSA will keep office hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The GELSSA was formed after differences among the membership caused the Georgia Burglar and Fire Alarm Association to disassociate from the NBFAA, and this new association, the GELSSA, was formed to recoup the old membership base which had been partially divided in late 2006 and early 2007. At the time, an independent organization known as the Georgia Low Voltage Contractors Association sprung up that was not part of a national organization.
