Vanguard Security Lands $5.8M GSA Security Contract

Company to provide guards and metal detection services for judges, mayor

Tri-S Security subsidiary Vanguard Security has landed a six-month contract extension for contract security with the Miami-Dade County General Services Administration (GSA). Tri-S reports that the contract is worth approximately $5.8 million in revenue and will include both guard services as well as metal detection services for protection of judges and the Miami mayor.

Ronald Farrell, chairman and CEO of Tri-S Security Corp, said that Tri-S is committed to growing the Vanguard presence in the Miami/Dade area.

"As we continue to grow Vanguard Security's presence in the Miami tri-county area, we are committed to keeping our clients' security needs as our core focus," said Farrell, who noted that Vanguard has become one of the largest security providers in that area.
