March 6, 2007
Growing Your Business to the Next Level course focuses on alarm business profit growth

The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) will be introducing a business training seminar, Growing Your Business to the Next Level, at ISC West 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The program offers training and coaching designed for business owners, executives and managers in the alarm and security business.

The course will be taught by Cathy Rempel, who is the founder and CEO of The Summit Group, a business marketing and coaching organization. The trainin session takes place on Friday, March 30, the last day of ISC West from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Room 607 of the Venetian Hotel. The seminar includes lunch and course materials, and accredited through the National Training School (NTS) for .5 CEUs.

"Our members have been asking for this type of business training for some time, and we are pleased to bring it to them during such a key event as the ISC West Expo," said NBFAA President George Gunning in a statement announcing the new program. "We begin our semi-annual conference on March 25 and wrap up our meetings on March 29, so having this class on Friday, March 30 should work out well for many who are attending our Spring Conference and the tradeshow."

The core of the course is education on how to create sustainable profit growth, and addresses common concerns in the alarm industry, including: attracting new customers, growing existing customers, and creating a "solid internal structure."
