Program seeks to train IT savvy integrators on Crystal HD IP surveillance solutions

Austin-based CoVi Technologies, maker of a high-resolution/high-definition surveillance system, announced today that the company is launching a certification program for its partners.

The CoVi Certified Solution Provider (CSP) program is created for integrators who would be delivering the company's Crystal HD surveillance system, which is specifically designed to handle the company's high resolution capabilities, that are available from its IP an analog HD (1280 x720) cameras.

According to Barry Walker, the CEO of CoVi, the program is designed to bring IT integrators and VARs up to speed on security system implementation, and to bring tradition security integrators up to speed with the challenges of IP networking. The Crystal system is designed to operate in a modern IP-based environment.

"There are a lot of integrators out there who understand physical security and video surveillance systems, and even more who specialize in networking and IP technology, but few who are expert in both," said Walker in a statement announcing the new program. "The CSP program's objective is to bring these two disciplines together in a new kind of organization that can effectively offer, install and support all aspects of our comprehensive technology."

The CSP program looks for its top-level integration companies who hold computer and networking certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MSCE and A+ certifications. CoVi will provide additional sales and detailed tech support training for these Certified Solution Providers.
