Extreme CCTV Reports Strong Q1 Earnings

Revenues and margins up from same quarter in previous year

Extreme CCTV, known for its active infrared night vision cameras, reported what the company is calling "strong" earnings for its first quarter in fiscal year 2006.

The company recorded revenues of $6 million for the quarter, which ended on Dec. 31, 2005, a number up 9 percent for the same quarter a year ago. Those revenues also translated into better margins, with net income for the quarter at $562,000, up from $4,000 for the same quarter in the previous year.

Jack Gin, the president and CEO of Extreme CCTV, said the company had been strongly focused in the quarter on "corporate goals of profitable growth and technology leadership."
