Strip mall will be anchored by bank, adds 15,000-s.f. of shopping

A 15,000-square-foot shopping center is in the works for the corner of Frank Scott Parkway West and South Belt West in Belleville.

Firehouse Crossing, so named because of its location next door to the Northwest Volunteer Fire Department station, is expected to be anchored by a bank with two drive-up lanes and a drive-up automatic teller machine on one end and some other sort of drive-up business on the other, according to Rob Berneking of the KJA Commercial real estate agency.

"This is something that should fit in really well with the development that is expected along Frank Scott Parkway," Berneking said....
