Securitas Acquires Black Star Guard Company in Spain

Black Star brings forecasted sales of 49 million Euro in sales

Securitas has acquired Spain-based Black Star, a guard company based in the Andalucia region. The acquisition, which brings aboard a leading regional guard services company will help strengthen Securitas' services in both the Andalucian province, in addition to key markets of Madrid, Barcelona and Murcia.

Securitas reports that the company's forecasted sales figures are at 49 million Euros (MEUR). Securitas also reports the acquisition's enterprise value at MEUR 23, and that the acquisition of Black Star will bring Securitas guard services sales in Spain up to MEUR 440. The company's total security services sales in Spain are approximately MEUR 760, and the company has 20,000-plus employees working in the country.
